Come along to the Watershed on 4th July for an inspirational evening, with fantastic speakers.
This event is being run in partnership with The 401 Challenge and Brace, Dementia Research. A proportion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to these very worthwhile causes.
Ben is best known for running 401 marathons in 401 days raising over £330,000 for two anti-bullying charities, Stonewall & Kidscape, which are causes close to Ben's heart, accomplishing something that no-one else in the world has done. Ben will discuss this incredible experience, why he has done it and how his foundation is making a difference in the world.
Judy was responsible for setting up the first hospital memory cafe, situated in Southmead Hospital's Brunel building. In Judy's talk, she will discuss the latest research into Dementia prevention and how we should be adjusting our lives to reduce the risks of Dementia. This is sure to be a fascinating talk which opens our eyes to the effects of Dementia and the great work that is being done to help prevent the condition.
There will also be musical entertainment, on a par with the excellent standards of Fraser Anderson and Verdisa, who performed at our January and April events.
